Delete your QuestiO account

QuestiO by Mind Games Lab LLC

You can delete your QuestiO account and the data that goes with it at any time. There are two ways: in the app (instant), or by email if you no longer have the app.

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

1. Open QuestiO and sign in.
2. Go to Profile and scroll to danger zone.
3. Tap delete account and confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first.

Your account and data are deleted within minutes. Want a copy first? Profile → export my data.

Option 2: by email (without the app)

Email admin@mindgameslab.com with the subject "Delete my QuestiO account". Send it from the email address you use for QuestiO, and include your @handle if you know it.

If you signed in with Apple and chose "Hide My Email", write from your Apple ID's email address and include your @handle so we can find the account.

We confirm it's really you, delete the account, and reply to tell you it's done, within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You don't have to delete your account to remove things. In the app you can:

• Delete a finished quest: Profile → completed quests → delete permanently (removes its rounds, check-ins, members and cheers for everyone in it).
• Leave a quest you joined, or remove a friend.
• Take back a cheer by tapping it again.
• Clear your notifications from the inbox (bell → clear all).
• Change your name, @handle, avatar and the details of quests you own.

Want something else removed, like a single check-in or a note? Email admin@mindgameslab.com from your account's email address and tell us what. We'll do it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in, your profile, @handle, avatar, settings and push tokens.
• Your check-ins (and the cheers on them), your cheers, "seen by" records, invitations, notifications, reports and crash reports.
• Your friendships and your memberships in other people's quests.
• Every quest you own, for everyone in it, including other people's check-ins in those quests. If friends are still using a quest you made, they lose it too.

Deletion can't be undone.

What is kept, and for how long

• Usage analytics (like "a check-in was made"; no email or anything you typed) expire on their own within 2 months.
• The QuestiO updates list is separate from the app. If you joined it, ask us in the same email to remove you too.
• We keep nothing else, unless the law requires us to.
